The bag carrier for bikes
FH Joanneum | strategic design | ss 2025 | with Elisa Groß
There are occasional situations where you need to carry a bulky bag on your bike and you don‘t have a backpack or you have a full one. So Elisa and I came up with a triangular fabric.
Bulky bags are difficult to carry on the shoulder because they always slide off. It‘s not any easier on the handlebars either, because they always bump into the bike. Our principle is that two ends of the fabric are attached with velcro fasteners to the handlebar, the bag is then placed on the fabric and the third end is attached to the frame or stem. It´s ment for bags as tote bags, shopping bags and packages. The smallness and lightness allows you to have it plugged in at any time, whether you need it or not.
To ensure the third end is securely attached to the bike, the ‚Ortlieb O-ring‘ was used. This part must withstand the weight of the load. There are elastic cords on the sides that can be tightened as needed
Big thanks to our model Lena!
