A bracket is an angle that is attached to the wall to support a cantilevered shelf. The process involved printing a 3D Polycast model or molding the desired size from modeling wax. I decided to 3D print my design and than put a thin layer of wax on top to get a clay look. In collaboration with the Loderer art foundry, we were able to have our own pair of brackets cast.
